Roleplay in ThunderClan here. This is set before the Clans moved to the lake, so they still reside in their forest territories. Have any suggestions for the frontpage? Questions? PM me or post them here.

Territory:
Mainly forest, with a large river marking the ThunderClan/RiverClan border, and the Thunderpath marking the ShadowClan/ThunderClan border. Many cats have been killed by monsters while chasing ShadowClan warriors back to their territory over the Thunderpath. Also bordering ThunderClan territory is the Twolegplace, which is generally avoided. Before the Twolegplace, Tallpines and the Treecut Place can be found. Notable landmarks are the Great Sycamore, one of the largest trees in the forest where apprentices practice their climbing skills, Snakerocks, which is home to numerous adders and has caves which could accommodate all manner of hostile creatures, the Sandy Hollow, where apprentice battle training is carried out, the Owl Tree, which serves as home to a tawny owl, and Sunningrocks, which used to belong to RiverClan until the river’s direction changed, leaving the rocks on the ThunderClan shore. The two clans have fought many battles over the rocks. At the centre of all territories lies Fourtrees, four massive oaks where the clans meet each full moon at the Gathering. Leaders stand on the Great Rock, at the centre of the hollow. When the stream floods, ThunderClan may have to travel on ShadowClan territory to reach the Gathering.
Camp:
The camp lies at the foot of a sandy ravine, protected by thornbushes and well-hidden by brambles, which still let the sunshine in. The ravine once held a river, but this is now dried up. The way into the camp is through the gorse tunnel. The most guarded part of the camp is the nursery, which has thick bramble walls. Warriors sleep under a bush, with senior warriors at the centre, where it is warmest. The apprentices make their den behind a tree stump, in a clump of ferns, while the elders sleep inside a fallen tree. Across the clearing, a smooth tall rock resides. This is called the Highrock, and the leader stands there to make important speeches. The leader's den is in a cave in the rock which was carved out by an ancient stream. Lichen covers the entrance. The last notable feature in the camp is a fern tunnel that leads to a crack in a rock. This is the medicine cat's den. The camp is difficult to attack, but easy to defend.
ThunderClan – Fierce and Brave: In peace, ThunderClan is respectful of the other Clans. In battle, they are fierce, courageous and loyal. ThunderClan cats speak out for what is right and are not afraid to challenge the warrior code. The Clan's main prey are mice, voles, squirrels, and the occasional rabbit, as well as birds such as starlings, magpies, wood pigeons, and thrushes. They have excellent stalking techniques, creeping across the forest floor. They keep upwind of their prey, creeping across the forest floor unseen and unheard. The first leader of ThunderClan was Thunderstar, who worked with the other first leaders to devise the Warrior Code. According to legend, it was Thunderstar who insisted on it’s more compassionate elements. ThunderClan fights in dense undergrowth, and by this they can put other clans at a disadvantage, using the foliage as camouflage. ThunderClan are trained to fight paw-to-paw in enclosed spaces. They can also attack from the trees. The best ThunderClan battle tactic is the Lightning Strike, straightforward, fast, and deadly. They track the enemy patrol through the forest as if hunting prey, and on their patrol leader’s signal, they attack as hard and fast as possible, all pouncing at once to cause confusion. They strike at the enemy’s ears, because they bleed the most. Then, ThunderClan retreats into the forest until the enemy relaxes, and then they attack again. ThunderClan communicates with signals so they do not alert the enemy, and stay downwind. A small patrol can easily make it seem as if they outnumber the enemy in a Lightning Strike attack. They are impressive hunters, and are the only Clan to use the hunter’s crouch, and can easily turn their skills to battle. To many, ThunderClan is the noblest Clan, the Clan of heroes.
